Former NXT UK Star Xia Brookside Confirmed for Return to WWE

Xia Brookside, a former NXT UK star, is officially set to make her return to WWE after more than three years away from the company. The announcement came from NXT General Manager Ava, who confirmed Brookside's participation in a new tournament on the NXT brand.

Brookside, who was released by WWE in 2022, will be competing in a tournament for the Speed Championship, which is currently held by Sol Ruca. Her first match will be against Candice LeRae, a returning star from SmackDown.

The tournament will also feature other competitors, including Lainey Reid and Faby Apache. The winner of the tournament will earn the opportunity to challenge Sol Ruca for the Speed Championship at the upcoming No Mercy event. This marks Brookside's first match with the company since her departure three years ago.
