Man Drives into Crowd in Normandy, One Killed, Five Injured

A man intentionally drove his car into a crowd outside a bar in the French town of Evreux, located in the Normandy region, resulting in one fatality and five injuries. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. on a Saturday.

According to a report from Hindustan Times, two of the five injured victims are in critical condition. Prosecutors who spoke with AFP confirmed that the driver's actions were intentional and took place following a dispute.

Authorities have ruled out any "terrorist" or racist motives for the attack. An investigation into the case of homicide and attempted homicide has been initiated to determine the full circumstances of the event.
